The 2010 National Schools and Colleges Micromouse competition took place on Saturday 26th June at the Technology Innovation Centre in Birmingham. Three teams battled it out this year. The turn-out may have been affected by the Football World Cup, but the competition was as keen as ever. For the first time two primary schools were represented, with only the ever-present John Hampden Grammar School flying the flag for the secondaries. There were no new records set, but the closeness of the results meant that attention to detail and that final “fine-tune” on the day were deciding factors.
