So you want to build a micromouse or other small robot....
Your first steps should be to make sure you have an understanding of the problem. Possibly the two most useful sources of reference are: - Peter Harrison's Micromouse Information Centre. Read lots of it and see if the answer is already there. - The postings in the Micromouse Online Forum. Do a search and see if your question has already been asked. and answered. This is also an excellent place to ask new questions.
When you have read enough to get going, you will need to design and build a mouse. Don't put this off, get on and make one - however crude it may seem. Without something to program and experiment with, you simply cannot progress. You can always make a better one later. |
